Though I didn't consiously Know what the mark looked like, I knew I would reconize it instantly.
I could feel it there, burning at the junction between my throat and shoulder, pulsing like a signal, in time with an invisible heart beat.

So... Yeah. Heh, oddly enough, this mark appeared in the dream I had the night before last. I've been re-drawing it near continuously the last two days, trying to get it perfect. As I cropped this to post it, I kept picking out little faults in it. It's driving me crazy.

You know those dreams you have, when you don't want to wake up, because even though the current moment is kinda bad, there's so much more hope for the future then you have in real life?
