It sounds like so much fun. Just too bad where i come from they have no clue what an anime convention is. When i cosplayed Japan people just stared awkwardly at me and it was only me and my twin there. She played as England. But i honestly just want to cosplay too. It's a dream of mine. The same as for going to Japan :3

They had the first ever anime/comic convention in my hometown this year, but I was still in China at that time! And there's no way any anime convention here in New Zealand could compare to the ones I've been to in Tokyo or Shanghai~ Tokyo is definitely the best! There are even cosplay stores where you can buy all the cosplay products you could possibly need!

OMG..Japan really is my home. There's no way Norway would ever be the ways i dreamt of being. No no..I want to learn Japanese and cantonese. It's been a dream of mine to stay in either Japan or Hong Kong somewhere. Ah..China and Japan..such countries i wish to go to but can't. I never have been to an anime convention. I want to go so badly.

I'm sure you will be able to travel to Japan, Hong Kong and mainland China some day! I highly recommend all of them, they're all wonderful places! And you should definitely time a trip to Japan to coincide with Comiket (the biggest anime convention) if you can!

I have discussed it with my mother and siblings. We're going in 2020. I am saving up so much money to go to Japan. It's going to be a life experience. My next goal would be Hong Kong. Definitely..and since i am so eager to learn their language. I am sure i'll be able to in a while. Just a little practice.. by listening to their languages carefully i am able to learn..but i cannot write Japanese or Cantonese. Ah..i just want to go! Everything i ever dreamt of is there! >w< ;w;Β

Really? You can Japanese? I have been looking all over Norway for a teacher that's willing to teach me the languages i want to learn but no one had the opportunity to give me a chance about it. If you were able to be my teacher. I would pay everything that i own to learn these languages. I feel i am not worthy but i feel at the same time so jittery and anxious. Please teach me! Japanese and Cantonese. I won't give up..! Never!Β Β I have been practicing Japanese on my own but it haven't quite worked out. I only can a couple of words but not full lined sentences.Β Β

I can definitely help you with Japanese! I've studied it for about 7 years, and I lived in Japan for about a year and a half.
My first suggestion for learning Japanese is to master hiragana. This here is a hiragana chart: i.pinimg.com/originals/b0/52/b⦠Using hiragana, you can write/read any Japanese word. Memorise the hiragana printed in black first, since they are your 'core' hiragana. Once you know them, then it will be really easy to learn all the grey hiragana around the outside, since they are made using the 'core' hiragana. As we move on to more advanced stuff, you'll have to learn katakana and some kanji as well, but to begin with, hiragana is the most important.
To learn hiragana, my suggestion is to choose a vertical row each day (or every few days if you're busy), and just practice that one row until you can read them off-by-heart. For example, choose the 'K' row γ γ γ γ γ ( ka ki ku ke ko ), and just keep reading/writing them until you can recognise them easily.Β
We can also practice some basic words and sentences before you've learnt hiragana, but learning Japanese in hiragana is definitely more beneficial than learning it in roman letters~Β

No problem, take as much time as you need! ^_^ Just let me know when you're ready for the next row of hiragana.
Cool, so you already know most of the Japanese greetings then! Since they're greetings on their own, I can't really think of a way to incorporate them into a sentence... So I'll teach you something new instead! I'll teach you how to say a really short self-introduction!
Hajimemashite. (This literally meansΒ "it is a beginning", but it's like saying "nice to meet you" in English).
Watashi/boku wa ______ desu. (This means "I am ______", so you say your name where ______ is written. 'Watashi' and 'boku' both mean 'I', but which one you choose depends on the situation and your gender. Females always use 'watashi', while males usually use 'boku'. However, in some very formal situations, males use 'watashi' instead).
Yoroshiku onegai shimasu. (This is quite hard to translate into English... It kind of means 'let's get to know each other/work together from now on'. It implies that you and the person you are talking to will be depending on each other in the near future, and that you are happy to get to know them. It often just gets translated as 'nice to meet you', but it's really about the FUTURE relationship between you and the person/people you are talking to.
So, once again:
Hajimemashite. Watashi/boku wa ______desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu.Β

So i need to practice a little more and memorize it a little while longer. I am so grateful that you're willing to use some time every now and then to help me with my japanese. <3Β
