Description Brown is not as warm on origional
8X12 or something

I'm disappointed my printer wasn't wide enough to get the back of the image. It basically was awesome and flowed. I DID NOT continue the image off the page.

Thanks.
It helps when you're drawing to do the darkest colors first.

really really like this you captured it's emotion/expression very nicely, and the pencil strokes are so nice and defined and yet it had this soft feel. very cool.you worked fast, I wouldn've thought it'd take longer.

xD I had a lot of fun. Since the style was so, I could easily see what needed to be done.

Thanks! Coming from you that means a lot. I actually went through your work for inspiration for drawing this. The one titled "Go Big or Go Home" I really want to draw.
Where and how do you get such great shots?

You're very welcome. You are so talented with your artwork, so it was my pleasure. Keep up the great work and I hope you do more big cat artwork.

Most of my photos are taken at a zoo called Jungle Cat World which is in Ontario, Canada. Although my snow leopard photos are typically from the Toronto Zoo.

I plan to.
I tried to draw an Ocelot, but I'm unaccustomed to the anatomy. Like that of a domestic cat, a cheetah and a leopard. Takes a lot of practice.

I actually meant how you got the angles. I've never been to a big zoo, even the Bronx Zoo in NYC only had one lonely snow leopard in a really small pen. *felt so bad for him, all alone*

I don't know a whole lot when it comes to artwork techniques and learning the anatomy of different species and all, but I can imagine that it could be quite challenging for sure.

Oh the angles, that is just simply from getting down to the animals level. It's never fun seeing a photo looking down at an animal. So my goal is always to get right at the animal's perspective. So a lot of times that means getting down on my knees and crawling around or laying down on my stomach or my side in the grass, dirt, snow or whatever.
