“Quidditch at Night” is the next picture in the Christmas gift series, and this one is for my awesome DA girl ~ Yamatoking .I met YamaKing a few months ago. Her amazing art really just addicted me to her gallery, and as an added bonus, she spoke German. I had been searching for a German deviant to chat with, so this was just perfect. She is a really awesome person and is willing to help anyone out, anytime. Plus she puts up with my “schoolbook German” XD
This picture is a little bit different from anything I’ve done before. This features Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter during a game of Quidditch ~ that’s taking place during the night XD I’ve always liked the idea that Quidditch goes on during the night. Everything would be that much eerier and freakier O.o I also imagine the Snitch to be a somewhat mystical object, which is why I made it that sparkly, with its light reflecting on the guys.
I enjoyed doing this picture coz I haven’t done anything quite so shiny and dark before. The colours were very difficult to get right, but I like the effect. The snitch is probably my favourite thing in the picture ~ it was very very cool colour

Tut mir Leid dass ich so spät kommentiere,ich muss noch sehr viele Messages nachholen,desshalb verzeih mir.
Also ich finde diese Action die du mit ins Bild reingebracht hast einfach super und bei so Nachtansicht Bilder ist es immer schwer die richtigen Farbtöne auszuwählen wie du ja selber gesagt hast.
Alles ist dir wirklich sehr gut gelungen!!!

Ron and Hermyare probably the best... Dan, although a good actor, is just not Harry. :-\ I do think they had found the perfect Dumbledore in Richard Harris.... shame he died, really.

I actually squealed when I first laid eyes on this. I can't tell you how perfect this is, from the way Draco is gripping his wand to thye way Harry's reaching to try and capture the snitch. It's obvious from both of their expressions that they're determined to be the first to get it, but I have a feeling Harry will get to it first, if Draco doesn't knock him out of the way. I'm still impressed with the way you draw your anatomy as well as the perspective. It's bloody perfect!
And what could I say about the coloring that I haven't said already?

XDD nice!! I think they have played quidditch through the night...If I remember it was in one of the Harry potter books saying that the longest game was like a month striaght and they had to keep changing players so they could get some sleep. XD
