just my two cents, I reckon comparing the original version with the slightly tweaked version that ~drpetter has done, that the original is more acurate. In the tweaked version the extra shading seems to detach the arm a bit, pushes the shoulder back but yet the hand is still towards the foreground. So between the two, the original works better.

Yeah... most of it is good. I like the head and legs in particular. His right arm (to our left) probably needs a bit more shading or something though, it looks too large/wide/flat. I like how the painted decals on the suit are impervious to shadow.
Having said that, I can't help but think that something about the image makes him look a bit... pudgy. Not extremely so, it's just like a slight case of Adam West. Maybe it's the arm, maybe it's the stomach. Some strategic blackness might be able to fix it up.
I've tried a bit of true inking myself recently and it's indeed hard to get the right shapes across using only binary light.
Keep at it.

i just don't see it. i'm not sure what you mean about the arm, the whole body is proportionate. i think it might be his glove giving you the wrong impression. as for pudgy, i'm not sure how you got there either.i havn't drawn him in lycra, or old school superhero style. i've drawn him as a man in a suit. i like his build, it's not ripped or skinny as i don't think the character looks good like that. much like the alex ross version of superman isn't ripped or in lycra but has a sence of power and strength. so i guess we just don't agree on this one.

no hard feeling man. i took a look at your edit, and as i thought, its the glove. i've drawn cap's gloves going up to his elbow. the strait line is a middle ridge of the glove. his gloves are big, as are his boots. but the gloves are lit like that because they are big and not tight like batmans. it doesn't represent his forearm, its his glove. just the way i draw it i guess.
