Description
Perihelion is a future variant of Solar Girl that I'll be introducing in the serial I'm writing now, The New Adventures Of Solar Girl. (Well, it's one of the serials I'm writing, and it might be New Adventures or a different one, depending on how the narration goes.)

Anyway, New Adventures is a sequel to the 2012 character blog Supergirls In The Spotlight, which starred an early version of Solar Girl. In New Adventures, her version of Spotlight City has been set adrift from Earth due to an undisclosed event in 2012 (after the character blog ended its posting run), with her timeline continually reset by the former-villain Status Quo.

However, from chapter 3 onward, the cosmic being Meanwhile has since reset and retooled the world again, so now there's a new version of Solar Girl whose origins begin in 2024 on Earth...and the original Spotlight City of 2012 is still mysteriously drifting through space, leaving Meanwhile to investigate.

So, this brings us to Perihelion. I'm planning a storyline following up on the fate of the original Spotlight City, which will delve into what becomes of it and how it transforms in the void Meanwhile has now left it in.

Eventually, that original version of Solar Girl is transformed into Perihelion in order to protect a parallel realm called Wightworld. This version of Solar Girl will be able to transform with or without her solar cuffs, which she no longer needs to wear, and is no longer reliant on a direct solar charge for her power.
