Description
Seen here is a female Tyrannosaurus Rex with feathers. The discovery of feathered dinosaurs led to debate regarding to what extent Tyrannosaurus might have been feathered. A 2017 study reviewed known skin impressions of tyrannosaurids, including those of a Tyrannosaurus specimen nicknamed "Wyrex" concluded that feather covering of a Tyrannosaurus was limited to the upper side of the body.
