Lately I've been getting into Escaflowne again....aaah, the nostalgy.I remember the first time I saw this show, and it was totally epic.
Despite I was varely 12, the first time I saw Dilandau, I tought he was damn hot and cool. Then, I saw he was also insane, but that only made me like him even more.
Yeah, I have a knack for villains and insane people, can't help it.

Escaflowne will alwys have a special place in my heart, it was one of the first animes that really impressed me, an I remember Dilandau looked very awesome to me.

8D Dilandau's the best! I loved him in the Escaflowne movie! How sexy!! Lol.
Of course his series version was the absolute best (before he turned back into Allen's sister). His bouts of insanity were the highlight of the series, especially after Van decided he was madly in love with Hitomi. *gag* In fact ... I think he was the only guy who didn't fall in love with her. Which gives him major brownie points.

Yeah, I also think he was probably the most interesting character of all the series.
I always try to deaw IC the first times, to get a hold of the character's expressions and personality. That makes it more plausible when I finally start to draw OC pics. XP

Lo unico familiar que me acuerdo es la canciΓ³n Mystic Eyes y las imagenes de los dos protagonistas, el resto para mi es desconocido XD (triste no? porque es antiguo y de seguro habra sido muy interesante! porque a la mayoria le gusta Cowboy Bebop, Ruroni Kenshin, Gundam Wing, Slayers, Saint Seiya que a duras penas vi unos pocos capis)
los animes nostΓ‘lgicos para mi son Saber Marionette, Soul Hunter, Oh My Goddess, Blue Seed, Those Who Hunt Elves, ehh...el Baron Rojo...? Fuerza G...? Angel la niΓ±a de las flores, Candy...LOL? XD no se, tampoco veia tanto (siempre he visto mas cartoons de todas formas xD)
y bueno esta de mΓ‘s mencionar DBZ, Evangelion, Pokemon y Sailor Moon (shudap I was a KID) XDD

The dub in spanish was great, and it's one that deserves spending money on it.

Well, I think the spanish dub is good. SPecially Dilandau, who's played by a woman, but he doesn't have a girl's voice. He really sounds like a young boy. (despite in the series, they misakingly talk about him like he's a girl, but we can be permissive, 13 years ago here at Spain still didn't know what a bishi was XD)

I find that about music artists too. I like to download a couple of songs to see if I like their work (not just one piece) and if I do, then I try to buy the CD. I feel better about owning things than just downloading things. Haha.
And I'm glad to hear the dub is good. Decent ones are so rarely done. It's frustrating. And mistakes like that are made all the time. Haha. In the original English adaptation of Yu Yu Hakusho, they mistook Kurama for a girl.
