After the relative victory of Bounty countless members of the ECF's Naval Infantry(blue grey uniform) and Strike Force Marines(green brown uniform) were sent to the Qualurian home world of Sirius Prime a tropical world made through advanced technology that gives it a large spectrum of temperate climate. In all Sirius Prime is planet of beaches, babes, and waves. In a unique emigration deal with the ruling Qualurian Old Clans. Most soldiers having spent almost a year fighting on Bounty needed the break and the new recruits would use the time as a way to get their minds off the anxiety that came from the Union's propaganda wins. The ECF leadership agreed with their Qualurian counterparts that a week long leave was needed. Surprisingly it was a most effective way to disconnect the troops from the rumor mills. For the men this would be a honeymoon as the Old Clans wanted customers and the ECF wanted a population boom.

The primary source of fresh income for the Qualurian old clans is on full display as prior to human contact much of their wealth was in a rather circular holding pattern. What wealth they never kept was given to the lower classes via work. With Human contact fresh income flooded their bank accounts. With the Old Clans the understanding of past economic system failures the Qualurians managed to ensure even the lowliest ECF humans could enjoy the finest things Sirius has to offer.
