Description Mikaela in a towel. She's extra curvy in this pic because... that's how I drew her.

Use naked women to distract the men while the women take over? Good plan. They'll never know what hit them!

What can I say? I curvy women! If I wanted skin and bones, I'd draw skeletons drapped in animal hide.

Sam is very much in love with this pic.

Megan Fox actually has quite a cuved figure -- if she put on some weight she might actually get to look like this

She does look gorgeous, here ^_^ Kind of like she's trying to decide whether or not to drop the towel for you

The media has such a warped stance on this. Curves are supposed to be sexy, but as soon as someone gets them, they're fat. What the hell? But you're right, Miss Fox does have some curves on her. She's not a complete stick. Just give it a couple years- Hollywood will get to her and she'll be anorexic just like the rest of them. -______-

lol~ In my head, she dropped that towel days ago.

Don't tell me you haven't figured out yet that the point of the media is to make you hate yourself? If they didn't say that curves were sexy and then call you a fat cow for having them, there might actually be many women out there who are totally okay with their self-image

I'm not saying Megan Fox isn't skinny. She's way too far on the skinny side for my liking, but even despite that she has a very 'feminine' body shape, with the large hip flare and little waist. She has a well-executed pear-shape. If she put on weight she'd actually have a very svelte figure, rather than just... skinny.

Enjoy yourself there Me, I prefer looking at her face

God forbid people actually started liking themselves. It would be the end of the world. O____o

Skinny or full of lovely curves, I think I'd still do her.

Pah, you can look at her face anytime! The rarity of the boobage deserves attention!

Could you even imagine? The entire production and consumerism industry would fall. It would be the end of capitalism! Democracy would follow, and soon we'd all be living in trees and fighting each other with spears for the last piece of BBQ raccoon! ... I'm only getting you excited about this utopia, aren't I?

More seriously, I really can't remember if I've shown you this clip from "Bowling for Columbine" already, but I love it. Also of interest is Moore's 'interview' with Chartlon Heston .

You would do anythingone

But her face is so pretty! There are far more lines and shapes and points of interest on the face than on the rest of the body combined!

ThornQueen In reply to FunkyFish1991 [2010-11-25 18:49:15 +0000 UTC]

End capitalism? Hell, that's a dream of mine.

I like that first clip. I haven't seen much of Moore's stuff, but the clips I have seen are very interesting. People may call him a douche bag, but at least he's asking questions and not just swallowing the bullshit that the media and everyone else is shoveling out.

...pretty much!

You have a point there. Faces are a very interesting part of the body. There's a lot you can do with one.

FunkyFish1991 In reply to ThornQueen [2010-11-27 17:47:23 +0000 UTC]

Well, there's the end of capitalism of course, but I was referring more to the idea of humans devolving back into tree-dwelling spear-wielding savages Actually, I heard on the radio a couple of days ago about this group of people currently living in South America in the Stone Ages. They just have NOTHING of modern life. They had no knowledge of the outside world, to the degree that they don't even have a name for themselves! They are what they are and they didn't know there was anyone else at all different!

He is a douchebag, in the sense that he's a real pain in the ass. But what he's saying is important shit. It's like Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" -- people hate him for talking about it, because they just don't want to think about it. Michael Moore is to societal issues what Al Gore is to environmental ones.

I love faces I love looking at them (I think it might weird people out a little when I talk to them, but oh well ). They're so dynamic

Haha, reports like that come of the Amazon nearly every year! The interior is so extremely unexplored that new shit, even entire groups of people, are constantly being discovered. On the one had, that's pretty awesome that there are still people out there who are untouched by the shittiness of the world now, but at the same time, finding them now just means the world is getting smaller and smaller with less mysteries or wilderness to enjoy. >.<

Al Gore is fucking awesome. I watched "An Inconvenient Truth" in my high school biology class and it changed my life. You wanna know the most awesome man in the world? David Suzuki.

Your weirdness only makes me want to talk to you more!

On that other hand, it also means that we feel the need to corrupt these people with our modern life. Johnny Vaughn, the presenter I heard this from, was getting upset at how we were giving these people tech like toothbrushes and toilet paper -- why can't we leave them as they are? They're obviously doing fine Toilet paper is the beginning of indoor plumbing, which is really the beginning of the end.

Haha, that's exactly where I watched it. And then of course went out and bought it to show everyone I know. What does Mr David Suzuki do?

That is a fortunate thing It's not as much fun to stare at people over the intenet O_O

*sighs* Indoor plumbing is just the beginning of the end of the world.

lol~ I didn't go as far as you. Never bought the darn thing since I could just rent it from the library or borrow it from the teacher. *gasp* You don't know who David Suzuki is? He's like... the most awesome thing next to the planet Earth! It's kind of weird listing off everything he's done, cause he's basically done it all. Like- sustainable energy, clean oceans and sustainable fishing, restoring habitats, dealing with global climate change. He's been doing broadcasting since the 70s for all manner of natural science-related stuff. Currently, he has this amazing documentary called "The Nature of Things" that's syndicated in 40 countries and it's such good stuff. I can't get enough of him- not only is he smart and brings to light all these serious issues in a way that makes them engaging, but his voice is so nice to listen to, and he's cute for an old guy!

Well, webcams could get involved with the staring, but those are just awkward. =/

Aw I love this, only because there seems to be a purity to her, not to mention a shyness you don't typically see. I kind of wish Kayla did have a bit of meat to her, sometimes she looks so thin, she looks like she'll snap in half. XD

ThornQueen In reply to SylentNyte [2010-11-15 13:29:58 +0000 UTC]

Awwww, you nailed what I was going for in drawing her! So many people, especially writers, seem to portray Mikaela as either a shallow sex kitten or a variation of one of the two. In WE, Mikaela is more like the outwardly confident woman who grew-up too fast, but on the inside she's still unsure of herself, a bit shy, and looking for a family (which she kind of leans heavily on Chase and Hound to fill the roles).

Curves are definitely a good look for her.

SylentNyte In reply to ThornQueen [2010-11-15 21:27:21 +0000 UTC]

Bay kind of helped with the sex kitten thing. -_-;; And while yes, she's a lovely lady, but...she's still a girl. We gals can be dripping lust out of every pore, but there will always be a small amount of shyness or insecurity there. You portrayed the character very well for the WE series, and also believable/relatible in the writing part. Again, it's that talent of yours I wish I had! >_<

ThornQueen In reply to SylentNyte [2010-11-16 02:08:37 +0000 UTC]

Bay helped with a lot of things- like fucking up the second movie.

Shyness and insecurity are human traits- if you didn't have any, then you wouldn't be human.

I'm glad that you like her portrayal in WE. She's actually a really fun character to write for. ^_^

And how! So many things that could have...but that's a topic for another rant.

Like Hound, that shameless sexy mech.

And you write her well my dear. I like how you portrayed the other characters, such as Miles, Chip Chase and Josie...speaking of which... I did some art of her you might like.

ThornQueen In reply to SylentNyte [2010-11-16 16:44:30 +0000 UTC]

Urgh, I blame the writer's strike and not enough time a little bit, but I mostly blame it on Bay and the shitty writing. So many things could have been improved! So many!

D'awwwwww, Hound might not be human, but he tries so hard!

lol~ Miles has got to be one of my favourite characters out of the whole WE universe. If he were real, I would marry him! I did see some Josie art you did a while back! Your rendition of Circuit Breaker was really interesting!

We can only hope this movie won't be as bad, what with new writers coming on board. But most sequels are notorious for some major suckage. I mean, I know Bay is the director...but he really needs to not interfere with the writing. I think most of his changes, especially with his hate for femmes(apparently only for Auto femmes-Ex: Alice-hack!), needs to be left on the cutting room floor. I'm glad he's trying to pay homage to one of the established continuities, instead of filming a bunch of car chases and shi...well like I said, this is a rant for a later time.

Ugh, don't hate me, but the Disney bug bit me with that last line. I'm reminded of the Little Mermaid and Pinocchio.

Aw it's too bad Miles didn't appear in the 2nd movie. I mean, Leo is ok, but Miles is already naturally funny, without even saying a word. I love your take on him though, and his mom! It fits him so much.X I blame the Japanese TFA opening and finding some copies of the original G1 TF and one featured Circuit Breaker in it. Bam! I got inspired as I have never heard of her until now. And even funnier, CB was a nickname of mine in jr high for my static problem.

ThornQueen In reply to SylentNyte [2010-11-17 16:22:28 +0000 UTC]

Ewwwww, don't remind me of Alice. That was, quite possibly, the worst abomination to hit Transformers since the Japanese invented Kiss Players. x____x Since Hasbro didn't like the second movie, I've heard they've involved themselves in the processes a little more. Hopefully that means they're trying to make sure Bay doesn't make the movie shit.

lol~ It's kind of true, though. Hound as a bit of a Pinocchio complex- except he doesn't get to be a real boy in the end.

I didn't like Leo's character... Honestly, I like Miles a lot more, hence his greater use in WE, while Leo has been relegated to Maggie's little techno-bitch. Oh lord, Miles and his mom are such love! Hahaha, that's pretty awesome that CB was a nickname of yours in high school! It's like fate as brought you together with the "real" circuit breaker! XD

SylentNyte In reply to ThornQueen [2010-11-19 23:56:42 +0000 UTC]

I don't think anyone wants to remember that...thing. And Kiss Players...that..that never happened.0_0;; No! >_<;;

It's about time Hasbro is taking on aggressive stance on their film franchise. I mean, it has their characters and name brand on it! Had they done so from the beginning, I think the movies would have come out differently. And in all seriousness, I think the less of Bay, the better it will be.

Aw poor Hound, but we love him for that. I don't think he should become a 'real boy', because..well seems kinda cliche? I think a big twist would be if Chase went through...something. XD

LOL Techno-bitch! I'm not going to be able to see him without thinking of that! XD I love Miles and his mom! I knew a women like her in my youth who used alternate medicine and kind of influenced me in that direction. I had many nicknames in high school: Circuit Breaker, Sparky, Live-wire, Jolts...anything electric related. They weren't exactly endearing, but said a lot about me. Even more ironic, my grandma's name is Josie. -_-;; As I've learned in life, fate can be a real bitch, but has some awesome tastes. I wouldn't have found your stories otherwise. XD

Urgh, I do not know what drugs the writers were on when they came up with Alice, but they must have been pretty hardcore for them to think she was at all a good idea to have in TF2. x_______x I agree with you, Kiss Players never happened.

I'm keeping my hopes up that Hasbro will see the error of their ways and agree to do a reboot of the series a couple years from now. I have no doubt if they invest a little more interest in what the director is doing with their material, the movies will turn out much better. ^_^

lol~ Hound never does become a 'real boy', but he comes sort of close, and Chase may never go through a certain 'change' in WE's main branch series, but she comes sort of close, too.

Fate has an interesting sense of humour, for sure.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SylentNyte In reply to ThornQueen [2010-11-22 02:37:03 +0000 UTC]

I see a good PSA from that. "Don't do drugs while writing movies kids, it's a baaaad idea." And Peter Cullens as Optimus Prime would narrate it.

If Hasbro ever does a reboot, and they're more at the reins, I'd watch it. The movies were not too bad, the concepts they created with excellent. Like mechs of all different sizes and shapes, but it was still a big mess storywise. Bay wasn't a good choice for this franchise, though it could have been much worse. Kind of like Tim Burton's take on Willy Wonka, I just walked out of the theater shaking my head. They just didn't capture the magic we grew up with. This last movie is my last chance for Bay to get it right. Three strikes and if it's flop, it's out. I'll stick to the classics.

So in a sense, they meet halfway? That's actually pretty cool.

More like a sadistic sense of humor. At least I haven't fallen down mine shafts this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if..
