Description Another early work from 2004 I dug up after chatting with *squeezelouise . (You should check out her gallery if you haven't already!)

I used a reference of this lovely lady: [link] (The one I used I don't think is up any more.)

After the beginning stages I just stopped using the reference and made it up as I went. It was a lot of fun at the time. Then I lost the PSD file. Over the last couple years I enlarged the jpg and cleaned it up. I think it looks nicer than the original now, but I'm still really a beginner.

I love the shading on this piece! you are so incredibly talented! I like the interesting crop angle here, really unique and powerful. Wonderful piece,

I also love the palette and textures. The skin is realistic and well shaded and smooth.
Healthy looking.

This is great! You've definitely got some serious art ability in there!! I'm determined to coax you and emmy into drawing more often as well as writing.
My favourite part is the lips. They're so good! I'm not very good at lips lol, maybe we should swap secrets on how to paint stuff
The colours in the shading are lovely too. I'm so glad you uploaded this!

Thank you! I should draw more, when I have time. Hopefully when we have more staff at #Beta-Readers .

I don't have real secrets (don't tell the gnome or pandacat though). I just use a reference and zoom into to "splotch level" whenever I'm not sure. Splotches makes everything better!

If you have a couple hours a week and interest, I'm sure you'd be useful! I'm actually going to write up a blog to beg let everyone know what kind of staff we need. We need like 3 new staff to do some features, help match make, and manage polls. Hopefully people will volunteer because if they don't I'll probably have to grovel at your feet.

Sure! I'd give it a shot <3 I'd probably be best for things that don't involve reading billions of things, so features probably aren't the best lol. I tend to read things properly on here, and take my sweet time over them so I'd clog everything up.
I'd be game for either of the others though.
