Description I actually attempted a kind-of background on this one!  Watercolor/watercolor pencil/Inktense on hot press watercolor paper.  Also, first time on Arches Watercolor block.  Conclusion: not bad.

Thank you!  Inktense are like watercolor pencils, but water soluble ink instead.  The colors are really bright, but once they get wet and hit the paper, they won't come up again.

that sounds really interesting...i like watercolor effects, but i often get upset when i can't control the flow of something. Most of the time, dependent on the picture of course, the loose flow works fine, but i have found  - for me anyway - that for me to be happy with my work, i NEED my boundaries. So most of my watercolors wind up being simply a color addition to an already inked piece. i've gotten some good ones that way though, so not too upset about it, but it is frustrating that i can't seem to use JUST watercolors when i want to.

anyway awesome work - love it all

I have the same problem, actually, but I'm trying to train myself better.
