Description I think every nature photographer dreams of taking pictures of a kingfisher. In any case: I did.
So when I got my chance and found a good spot I was hoping that at least one kingfisher would show up and that I would have a chance to make at least one decent portrait...

But......I never expected this: after a few hours hiding under a camouflage net, with my hands frozen and my knees in some nettles......all of a sudden they mated right in front of me...!
It all happened in a split second and i was glad I had my pictures to see what actually had happened...
