Ugh, you got the web to show too?? I took a pictures of some sweet spiders when I was on vacation and I couldn't get the web to show up. Is that because of the flash?

Yes. Though I had some back light the primary reason for the illumination of web was the flash. It almost never hurts to use the flash during daylight as well, in many instances it can smooth out some harsh natural light.

Really? I'm pretty new to all this, as in just a few weeks new haha, but I find you get more vibrant colors without.

Thats something I shall have to check out. Although I refuse to edit my pictures; all things can be remade with post-editing, vibrancy is merely a button away.

That's also true, sometimes it's hard to get the colors to come out the way you see em on an overcast day. I don't mind touching up the color a bit if it helps everyone else see what I saw.
