Or rather my dragona.

A dazzling lil Wyvern, to be specific.

I'm sticking with this design for a while, I think.

Name:Shrike

Nickname: Birdy

Breed:Scythetail Wyvern

Scythetails usually have markings quite similar to one another with little variation in markings, but a wide variety of colour.

About the breed, these small species of Wyvern are naturally very dark coloured with bright markings. The wings always have a circular-related pattern to confuse predators and prey alike.

The Scythetail is aptly named so because of the weapons that they steal from blacksmiths. Scythetails usually take the scythes because the piece of connector metal that usually connects the blade to the pole can be attached to the tail as so. (Don't quote me on that, I'm not a weapons expert. )

They do not have the classic poison barb on the end of their tails, but instead secrete poison out of small openings just under their claws, making even the smallest of scratches lethal to a human.

Their wings are thin but strong and flexible. Scythetails have just two elongated fingers as opposed to Western dragons that have -on average- four in their wings. This reduction in the complexity of Scythetail wings makes them more comfortable to tuck away when not in use.

Scythetails also have their nostrils located just below there ears. This makes for a more aerodynamically streamlined head from sharp dives to aerobatic flight.

Personality: Shrike doesn't talk much to people or animals that she doesn't know very well, and ignores most strangers altogether. She isn't one to be as headstrong as the others, but certainly loves being around her bolder friends. She's been an introvert her whole life, only now just coming out of her shell. This makes her awkward in most conversations, especially around dragons she likes,and only can think of what to say after the conversation ends.

She is completely obsessed with flight and spends all of her free time up in the clouds. Shrike can never stand seeing someone sad, but is usually the more negative one herself. She tends to forget how good she has it and wanders off on a trail of darkness, forgetting all the positive things that are in her life. Shrike has realized this problem within her and is trying to lessen the stress that she creates for herself.

Shrike has been named 'Shrike' because she is known to impale her prey on her scythe. ( Shrikes are small agile birds that store their prey by stabbing them through a thorn on a bush or any sharp stick. Gruesome. >:3 ) And she's nicknamed by her peers affectionately as Birdy.
