Description This Transformers Generations Skids. He is covered in babies...er guns. He has more guns in his arms but after fixing his hips, I was too tired to reshoot this pic. *flops* He's also back heavy and tend to lean. I haven't done much since I'm fighting a cold and a cat that wants to tear down my lighting rig.

I think he comes with More Than Meets the Eye #22. He really should come with an issue #3. Check photo for reasons.  tfwiki.net/wiki/File:LiarsAtoD…

He's sort a like an amnesiac James Bond. I really hope there will be a Getaway figure to 'bomp' him or I will be a sad 'bee. ^^

First off, reports are that Skids' hips are miss assembled. That means he CANNOT raise his knees. The hip joints are marked L And R but they are on the wrong sides. To fix that means to take off the legs and switch the top connectors and out them on the correct sides. Easier said than done since some have broken the ball joint when doing this.

I read that easiest way of doing this is sliding the legs out of the hip swivel first. Then you take the hip connector off the ball joint. Working the damn thing off the ball joint took a while and I broke my nails. But it worked and I put the correct joints on the correct legs.

Success! He can know raise his knees. If he wasn't so damned awesome in MTMTE and Marvel I would have left him be.  So sue me I REALLY wanted to be Charlene. Who doesn't want a giant alien robot boyfriend who turns into a vehicle. XD

It must be me but when a company sends out a product with instructions on how to fix a mistake they didn't  catch in assembly - that's sort of - arrogant to me.  I buy antiques that way but not brand new products.  Maybe I'm old fashioned?

I think your cat has the right idea.  Quit filming and yield to the 'be a cat lap' - its for your/his own good when you're feeling crappy.

Okay. I'm delirious. I just typed out a reply and it disappeared. Time to take a nap.

I didn't know about the hip thing until taking him out of package. Hasbro didn't have word about this and after searching, I found several posts about wrong hips. A poster on TFW mentioned removing the lower leg and then taking of the hip joint. That worked for me since that leg was not coming off.
