Those 8 legs were the Teaser I posted a few weeks ago.

I LOVE THESE TWO ALREADY.

Can you tell who's who?

Wealtheow foaled in the early misty morning hours right before dawn immediately after the holidays. It was a premature foaling, but due to the lack of panic on Wealth's part, we highly suspect she had done this kind of birth before.

She was pretty torn up afterwards, however. She didn't stand for hours afterwards, and when she did, she didn't go very far. The vet checked her over and said that the repeated birth tore up her vaginal canal, but she given antibiotics and no exercise for two weeks and was good as new.

The foals--ah the foals. They were BCC's first twin set and we were pleased to say that they had little problems to speak of. Tiny little things they were, and the smaller one with the white face tended to have repeated nose bleeds, but other than that they were perfect.

All in all, we were lucky with our first twin set ever.

Barn Name: Ri (pronounced "Rye," as in the bread)
Gender: Colt
Projected Height: 16hh
Color: Black Sabino (Dominant white)
Eyes: left eye brown, right eye blue
Markings: Heavily-roaned sabino markings
Build: Small, with his dam's slim figure. His nose bridge slopes nicely into a Roman point. He's the larger twin of the set.
Breed: Thoroughbred
Bloodlines: Snowbird x Wealtheow
Genes: EE/aa/Ww (all foals will be dominant white)
Temperment: Riordan is quite obviously the first twin born--he's the dominant one, the leader in anything and everything. When Ri says jump, he expects you to jump. He has a great ability for tender emotion, but can never seem to express it. He acts almost... jaded, though we don't know why.

Color: Black Sabino (Dominant white)
Eyes: left eye blue, right eye brown
Markings: Heavily-roaned sabino markings
Build: Small and very petite with his dam's slim figure. His nose bridge slopes nicely into a Roman point. He's the smaller of the set.
Breed: Thoroughbred
Bloodlines: Snowbird x Wealtheow
Genes: EE/aa/Ww (all foals will be dominant white)
Temperment: Raza is very much the opposite of his brother. If he were human, he'd be the funny person in the back of the bus singing annoying songs for 6 hours straight just because he can. He loves playing and enjoys life, though he's not necessarily mischevious. While Ri often tries to police him, he gets away with a lot more than he probably should.
