Anywho, I almost didn't post this but I figured, why not? I've been having a really crappy week. This piece was therapy art, fanart, and a great big thank you to everyone who keeps reading my stories all rolled into one.

Okey-doke, second comment because the art is beautiful and I just have to point out what I love.

Drew's expression. That slight downward curve to the eyebrow and the line above it really say a lot. It subtly shows his feelings and confusion, as well as the emotions over Dawson, I guess. I also like to think that he's not embracing Sven, maybe because he doesn't know yet, or he's just too dumbfounded to do anything but return the kiss, haha. Also, those little freckly spots are a wonderful attention to detail and work well to make him a real person in my mind.

I love how Sven's fist is curled; has he gone too far, too fast? He's not relaxed enough to hold Drew completely. Maybe he's afraid, or angry at those who've hurt Drew. S'very emotive, that fist.



You might not have planned on all that, but I commend you for it. They add real depth and emotion to the picture.

83 Oh I planned it. I planned it all. I've had this image in my head for months.

Drew's emotions are spot-on (though if you look at the very subtle left arm, you'll see that he's a little farther along the acceptance train that you think, but that was also planned--the embrace in the back, the resistance in the front).

And Sven's hands are probably the most important thing about him in this--them and his smooth face, anyway. His face is meant to look blissful and almost persuasive, like he's finally getting what he's been dreaming about and trying to sway Drew to his side. His fist is holding Drew in place. His left hand is clenching Drew's chin and his fingertips and knuckles are white, making sure Drew can't escape.

Essentially, I wanted this piece to represent the catalyst of the relationship. Drew is on the figurative cliff's edge, struggling not to fall but knowing it's futile. Sven, on the other hand, is fed up with Drew and is essentially forcing his hand in the matter.

Now none if this is to say that it's going to happen in the story. But a girl can hope, eh?

I don't understand why people find Homosexuality so wrong. What is so wrong with two people who are in love? Love is one of the strongest human emotion and I don't think that anyone can say. 'oh... Thats wrong that you love an other man' If you like it, Then why not.
