Description "In this day and age, technology has developed more immersive means of escapism. While the advancements allow us to bridge the gaps in communication worldwide (among its many conveniences), they can also be used to dangerous extremes. The digital culture, with its terrifying degree of immersion, has become an avenue for people to create alternate realities for themselves, leaving their natural reality to deteriorate as they neglect it. Technology has made it possible to create self-centered worlds where people are only concerned with matters that go on inside their heads and on their devices. It has become more difficult for them to leave their supposedly temporary diversions as they find fulfillment (albeit short-sighted and temporary) much easier in fantasy. What used to be a means of escape entraps the person to a new reality with rewards that he finds hard to resist."

This was part of my thesis exhibit, "Esc", and it was printed on an artist canvas that was 24 x 24 in size.

Credits to Dino Mark Reyes, my model.
