Oh my heavens this took so long! I discovered it is really hard to find a terrified face, you can get pretend ones but not true terror, made my life so much harder. Oh well.Illustration from Robert Jordens Wheel of Time series

I still have yet to remember when Mat got "disconnected" from the Horn... it wasn't the Rhuidean incident.

Mat got "disconnected" from the Horn when Rhavin killed him, Avienda, and Asmodean at the beginning of Rand's assault on Caemlyn in "The Fires of Heaven". Their deaths were undone when Rand used balefire on Rhavin, but it did not negate the "disconnection" from the Horn.
