For my photography course I had to take a picture of a woman using artificial lighting. I was originally going to photograph my sister, but dangit if it projects like that just keep getting put off. So, I decided to take the bull by the horns and just do it by myself.It was so much fun setting up all the lightingβa big spotlight above me, LED lights on my left and right for filler/colour, a spotlight on the sheet behind me, and a lamp at my feet to kill dem shadows under my jaw. One of the first times I've ever done a photos-shoot using 100% artificial lighting.
Finally bought a remote controlβafter the shoot. It was rather time consuming using the timer and getting up after each shot to see if it was even in focus. But I enjoyed myself, and I finally have something to submit for my course!

Great lighting! Sounds like you went to a lot of effort for it but I think it turned out well. Beautiful pose. And it's sure nice to have a remote! Well worth the money.

Really pretty! I like the lightning very much, it highlights what's the most important. The colours are lovely too, so calm and make me think of books and libraries.

Wow, It must be nice to have a such a great model on hand whenever needed! 
If I had to make a critique, it's that I'm not sure what feeling the pose is meant to express. It's almost as mix between reclining gracefully and a rigid i'm-waiting-for-the-camera-to-click posture. I think that would be solved if your head was resting against the chair, allowing the shoulders to relax a bit. (Of course that's probably a difficult thing to do without your remote control.) It's possible I would get a very different impression if more of your arms and torso were in the frame. Regardless, it's a beautiful shot!

Ah yes, the pose... Working with the light, the awkward back of the chair, and all without a remote control made it... difficult. I tried leaning my head back, and I tried totally put-on. This was the one shot that actually worked for the most part. Next time, I'm working with my camera tethered to a computer somehow.
