Letting the big vessel onto the ground, "There." Akira sighed and gave the red head in front of her a signal to hold it up to prevent it from falling over. Gaara, still holding his gray vest in his left hand was quick to grab the cork with his right just before one of the kunoichi in their group retreived the vest. "Thank you," the young man said quietly, not only to the kunoichi who took the vest off his hand but also to the brunette, on whose face formed a small smile. "No problem."
She wanted to leave just then, but hesitated. "Unless you need anything else, I'll be on my way." She suggested, looking back at Gaara. He shook his head. "Where would you go to in the middle of the desert?" The girl was strange, why would she want to just head off on her own in the middle of nowhere? The male furrowed his (non-existent) brows when the female's smile widened and she said "Home." before turning and walking away.

Even though he learned that he shouldn't question her by now Gaara, nonetheless, watched her go in silence only thinking to himself, "But what do you mean by 'home'?"

I haven't drawn Gaara in ages lol,,

Drawing him again now made me think about how I could flesh out his and Akira's relationship a little more because I never really had a good reasoning for them getting together later so I need to work on that haha..
I've settled for a rough storyline but I haven't quite finished it so for now, just enjoy his beauty,,, not that he looks very beautiful in this picture
At least I improved from 2 years ago...
