Next up on the Witcher train we have my rendition of the arms of Nilfgaardian empire. I love the sunburst motif in heraldry and Nilfgaard's sigil is especially good rendition of this. With this I have tried for somewhat of a middle ground between the three main visualisations of these arms, them being from the games : bit.ly/3QuQHFW , from the show : bit.ly/3SEENv5 (yea this was the best photo I've seen), and from the wiki : bit.ly/3SD0aNf . One of the Witcher books specified that the sun has 16 rays, and luckily it subdivides very well to these alternating gold and silver, straight and bending ones. I, of course, had to feature the famous black sun of the empire, and not go with a faced design for the sun, as it is more iconic and whole lot cooler. The alternating colours in the sun was inspired mostly by the wiki's rendition, and I feel it brings some visual balance to the design.Sable, a sun-in-splendour or and argent
