Description the title amuses me too much.

I started this in Febuary or so but forgot about it for aaages. I've just finished it off this afternoon. I guess all together its taken 8 hours or so.

I worked most on this picture when I was feeling pretty sick of things and down. This was kind of a way to express how I felt. So its not just a pointless zombie lady

It was interesting colouring this. Its a lot darker and grungier than most of my pastelly and bright pictures.

You have such a way with details, especially anatomic ones in this case. Your coloring really provides a great deal of detail to this pic. The colors really set the mood and the red gives off such a bold statement. I love it.

Oh, wow, that's so different from anything I'd expect from you.

It looks great. The brown around the lines to make it look dirty came out great, and the way the heart has the brightest colors in the whole thing really brings the focus to it (I don't know if that's what you wanted...?).

Overall, I think the best part is her face. Catching the right emotions in a serious situation is extremely difficult, and you executed it beautifully. Great work.

thank you ^^ thanks for noticing that I did make it brighter. It was sort of an idea I had that she tore out her heart because it was so painful to keep feeling emotions, but by getting rid of her emotions she was dull and lifeless even if she was painless. I wanted to show the heart is bright and full of life and contrast to the rest of the picture.

You definitely delivered the message very well, then, becase even if the words didn't come to me to express how it made me felt, that was more or less the feeling I got.

Another thing I like is how her breast is revealed. You didn't just do a slit in her shirt over the cut which is how I would have done it 'cause I suck () but you actually made it look like the shirt was torn in a desperate and rushed attempt to get to the heart. She's beyond the point of caring about modesty and just wants to stop feeling.

Is that how you intended it?

yeah, I didn't think she'd really care if her breast was showing and tearing out a heart wouldn't be tidy XD I didn't really make her breast look very attractive so I didn't think it'd come off as sexual.

*coughs* Yeah, anyway, I understand. XD And I felt all flattered that you responded to my comment 'cause I was all " She didn't respond to anyone else! That must mean I sound intelligent. For once." I commented as I did instead of just saying, "Hey cool shading!" because I figured since you're taking a risk by posting something with more meaning than a silly Miroku with emus dancing around him (it was emus, right?), you deserved more depth behind the feedback. I'm glad you appreciated it -- I hoped you would.

And of course, I'm not downing the people who left a one-line comment, 'cause I'm sure you appreciate them, too. I know I would if I actually posted anything worth commenting on.
