This one pretty much explains itself, I think. For a few years now I have been an enthusiastic Hellboy fan, and while I don't particularly care about the character, there is no mistaking that the visuals for Ghost Rider are some of the best in the comicbook genre. Period.I felt that the two supernatural heroes made for a good match and decided to commit it to pencil and paper.
So here it is, 1970s-era Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze, not Daniel Ketch) vs. Hellboy.

I think to be fair, that you're describing Danny Ketch's GR. Β I don't think 1970s Johnny Blaze was all that potent. Β It would likely be a closer match.

Oh god, This is absoulute stomp in Ghost Rider's favor.
-GR's physically stronger and has more abilities to his advantage
-Hellfire body and indestructible skeleton make it so that stabs, slashes, and gun wounds won't hurt him, nor can he be torn apart
-GR's immune to hellfire
-Only the Hulk was able to knock him out...for two seconds before he was back up on his feet and kicking butt again like nobody's business
-GR defeated Satan, Mephisto, and Blackheart with only half his power
-Far vaster hellfire manipulation, from emitting it on his body to molding weapons with it like chains and guns
-Single handedly defeated Galactus with his Pentance Stare
Unless Hellboy has heavenly weapons he cannot harm, yet alone hurt Ghost Rider. That and Ghost Rider has gone through much worse than Hellboy has. Trust me, you'd be surprised. Ghost Rider is MUCH more powerful than many people realize.
