Getting out of bed at 5:00 am just to shoot a loneley DMU on it's way across some lower austrian countryside? Must be desperation caused by all thoose ten-times-visited-but-closeby-spots. At least the outcome satisfied me. Pure branch line feeling, 5047, overgrown trackage and even the old "telegraph poles" still standing.

The rate of grass on the tracks actually got lower compared to two years ago. 5047-005.
Following this line, you end up somewhere in the nowhere. At least it feels like. Still quite a few passengers, tho.
At least, "Somewhere in the nowhere" got lots of traffic, 30 min headways during peak hour.
