I did this for a woman at my mom's work. Her dog passed away last year or so and wanted me to draw two portraits of her dog for her. This is the first one.I used a range of different pencils from 2H-8B on a special sheet of paper. Can't remember what type it was.
Some of the details were lost when I photographed it and digitally cleaned it, but as for the original piece, I'm quite happy with how it turned out, especially since I haven't done a proper pencil drawing in -ages-.
Took around 6-8 hours to render, 1 hour for the sketch.
