Specifically RB2 nerds. XDFor !
If only a.) anyone could play together online, whether you have a PS3 or 360 and b.)if I could get my wireless connection to work and not cut off, then all would be AWESOME.
(yeah, my PS3 keeps interrupting my wireless router when I try to download the RB2 patch ._. )
Icen's on the Guitar, I've got the drums (I used to hate them but I find myself surviving on Hard mode now!).

I wish I could afford Rock Band 2, and have the time and talent to get good with it. Because if I did I would bombard the developers with requests for some truly awesome power metal songs... Of course, the awesome stuff would be nearly impossible to play... Ah, well, such a life full of "what ifs".

Well, there's always the option of buying the old special edition (rock band 1) and then just shelling out money for the RB2 disc. At least that's what I did, I have the entire set for RB1 on my ps2 and I'm lucky it all works for the PS3 too, so all I had to do was pay for the RB2 disc. :3 Now all I have to do is configure my router so I can actually play online, keeps farting on me whenever I try to download the RB2 update ._.
But yes, I think we need moar metal (and I can only imagine how impossible most of it will be) Although... I think they're coming out with a Metallica Guitar Hero, so on there they've got Metallica songs as well as some related artist songs on there. I'll probably pick up that disc for my PS2 since it'll probably be cheaper than the ps3 version. I heard they're introducing the option of plugging in a second kick pedal though o-o that'll take skills.

I have a PS2, but no PS3; Ecksbawks 360 for now (and the foreseeable future). Still need a job first before I can go out buying luxuries again.
But yes, moar metal! I'd love some Iron Savior or Manowar songs, despite the sheer insanity of a newb like me trying to play them.

I'm not one who has specific metal bands that I listen to, Metallica's probably the only one I can really think of off the top of my head, I just usually enjoy it if it's on and find out who did the song afterwards. If you have any recommendations, I'd be glad to discover more specific metal moooosics.
Hehe. I call 360's ticking timebombs, the RROD's are the only reason I didn't buy a 360.. oh and paying for online is kind of a dealbreaker since I don't play online too often so I don't want to subscribe for something I might not use too much. Still kinda wish I picked one up for Fable II and some other 360 exclusives, but oh well. I have MGS4 to keep me company. :3
...Although the 60GB PS3's have been dying as of late, but I have a new 80GB one and I read somewhere they take less power to run than the launch consoles anyway, and that's where the issues are. I hope.

Ah. Well, all the games I wanted to play on the nextgen consoles were all Xbox 360 exclusives (Halo 3, Gears of War, now Gears of War 2... God, I just love that chainsaw bayonet, it's so....... AWESOME) so that's what I got. I got a RROD but MS replaced the console for me so that's decent.
Heh. Well, I'm a picky person with my music, I like to find a band I really like then listen to their stuff, since I don't like to use up time listening to stuff I don't like.
Some good metal (that I like, at least: your mileage may vary) is Iron Savior - power metal set to a Science Fiction storyline, it's so woot. Sabaton - Swedish metal band who sing about battles in history? Farkin' A! Also, there's the more famous bands: Manowar, Hammerfall, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Lordi, Dragonforce... Though the last one seems to be a band most people either love or despise utterly. I kinda like 'em myself, but they ain't my favorite.
Unfortunately, I'm not a music affectionado, so my taste might be limited. Always ask around, you'll never know what you'll find.
...But Sabaton does indeed kick ass.

At least you got it replaced. I got lazy so I bought a PS3, but I'm pretty happy with it right now, even if the only PS3 exclusive game I own is MGS4.
I'll definitely check those out. I know some Iron Maiden stuff (who doesn't?) I'm just afraid of getting in to it because there's so much of it. I'll give it a go though XD. Swedish metal bands? sounds sweet. Reminds me of a random Finnish viking metal band, Turisas. They sound pretty epic.
But yes, I'll check it out. Don't worry about it, my taste in music is probably almost as limited... maybe varied, but not in-depth. Or something. XD

Finnish viking metal band? I must look out for them. But Manowar has a lot of viking/nordic overtones in their songs (heck, one of their more recent songs is called "Sons of Odin") so they might be good.
But I love epic stuff. Epic music is... well, epic.

I like the RB one XD I haven't tried the NEW GH ones though, so maybe once I do, I'll like them better? I just like the size of the overall RB guitar and how the buttons don't have tiny gaps in between them. Makes it easier to slide. :3

lol i can't slide with the RB one my hands are too big the spacing is just right for guitar hero

oh man drums are so crazy! I'm incredibly impressed that you can survive on hard on drums. Furthest I got was medium. But then since I've got guitar hero and not rock band I only get to play when I go over to my friend's house. Which is not often enough for me to be good enough for hard yet. 
...anyway, I'll end that ramble before I go on even more. Love the picture. It definitely made me laugh and I needed a laugh. So thanks!

Yeah. They should just suck it up one day and make a superconsole that everyone can own and play and... yeah. Except I like how the Playstation Network doesn't have any fees... so they might lose that if they ever tried to join. Online gaming doesn't mean that much to me, if I ever had to pay, then I wouldn't play online.
But keep at it, this is one of them games that takes practice *shakes fist at DDR too XD*, and you'll be rocking in no time. :3

Lawls! I have a 360 and I have World Tour and I have played Rock Band cause teh boyfriend owns it. So we play it over at my apartment time to time. :3 We has a ball together. heehe!

It is a blast to play, that's for sure! XD Drums take a while. I still have those songs on hard that I can't play at all because the beats are too weird.. but once you find the tricky patterns and master it, you can make it through the song. :3

I wish we could play together but A) I have 360 and you have PS3 and B) I don't have wireless/X-Box Live yet.
