Thought about aiming it at, for example, _xmouse + Math.cos(counter++) * 5, instead of just _xmouse...? That way it'll always be in motion, even if somebody gets up and leaves the cursor still.....

Nice effect, specially the way the movement of the spiral is delayed towards the movement of the cursor, that's cool. Oh and it looks alot better in high quality
