Description
The former post office in Porters Falls, WV. It's one of those places where you can write the zip code backwards and the mail will still get there.

Aside from hiding a car and some nasty junk, I applied a contrast effect I use a lot called "clarify".

Thanks for the description. That brings back a lot of memories. My first job was in a place that was probably twice this size but in the same condition. It was the general store, gas station, and post office. It had a dug dirt basement with an old boiler in it and one day one of the display cabinets went through the floor. They fixed the hole and things went back to normal until it burned down a couple of years later.

I was sad the community lost their post office. It was a place where people congregated in the morning. Now they just have metal boxes with a roof over them.

I agree. We always had a couple pots of coffee going because it was at a cross road with a parking lot on both sides and you would get people that came in for the paper and stood around having a cup before going on with the day. So much character.
