Description My first big break in comics came just before the turn of the century/millennium. I had produced a couple of small press, black & white, creator-owned comic book series with my friend J. Torres , all the while sending copies of those comics to various editors at bigger publishers in the hopes of catching someone's attention. After receiving numerous rejection letters, I finally got lucky when Darren Vincenzo, editor of the DC Comics series Batman: Gotham Adventures, contacted me because he needed a fill-in artist for one issue. Of course I jumped at the opportunity, and that one issue led to another, and another, until I eventually took over as the main artist on the series. It was a dream come true for me, it jumpstarted my comics career, and I got to work with some amazing people, including the wonderfully talented Scott Peterson , who took over writing B:GA at the same time I began drawing it.

Geez, you'd think Ivy would know more about basic botany

Batman: Gotham Adventures #20 was written by Scott Peterson, pencilled by me, inked by Terry Beatty, lettered by Tim Harkins, coloured by Lee Loughridge, and published by DC Comics. If you'd like to read more, you can find the rest of the comic on Comixology .

Thanks for looking!

The Batman/Poison Ivy conflict is pretty interesting.

Thanks so much, Tom! Unfortunately, I sold all my good DC pages years ago, and my more recent work is often digital, so I have no new comic book pages available to sell. For the Capstone kids' books I've done in the past few years, I do have original art that I scanned and colored in PS, but it's all drawn on regular, cheap printer paper instead of Bristol board. I'd be happy to give you any of that stuff if you're interested, but you don't have to buy it -- we could trade

Sure!  Let's trade.  Anything you're interested in from me? I have similar stuff on photocopy paper and some stuff on bristol.  If you have a WW of yours, that's something I collect from artists I like.  Cap America too.
