Mmmm tipssss, I actually used to have a Darae, haha~ Try not to touch their faces too much, keep her out of direct sunlight~ For clothes, she'll fit anything that says 'MSD' or 1/4! She may or may not fit Slim MSD clothing, that's kind of a hit or miss ^^ I love Luts! I love their Zuzu's since I have 5, lol!

Thanks! I've wondering about the slim MSD clothes and about the face touching. OMG they're so cute! I saw them in your gallery. I like Zuzu's, but I prefer the human dolls myself. I might eventually get one, but not for my first doll.

The kids I babysit are my cousins and they're really good. :3 They're so cute and sweet! I've always loved the last name D'Laine, so when I saw a street nearby, Acacia Lane, I changed the spelling to Akaecia and just added basically my favorite last name to it while still keeping the lane part of that street. I almost have enough money. Just another hundred left! DX The one thing I hate is how pricey these dolls are, but I know she'll be worth it!

Aww, that's awesome! That's cool how you got her name, hehehe~ Zephii's is kinda like that. I named her after the Cepheid variable stars, her name would have been Cephi, but I wanted a Z name, then I just added another i. XD

Thank you! Yes, she was an event head in 2010~ She's Nanuri 2010. Tsuminaki/vitta-vera does all the tattoo work on my dolls~ I don't have the artistic talent to paint them, hahah! I only sew clothes for them xD Ooooh~ Who's next?

I don't have any artistic talent either! DX I can only sew rips in clothes and stuff lol. The next one up is going to be Akaecia's boyfriend, who is the opposite of her. She's all elegant and serious, but he's carefree and rebellious. He's going to be either a tan-skinned Kid Delf Bory or a Kid Delf Yuz. I'm unsure if I'm going to give him tan skin as a Yuz. His name's either going to be Demetri, Hunter or Dalton, depending on which sculpt and skin color I choose.

I wish I had so many dolls! XD I'm having a dilemma before I've even gathered up enough money for my first! I just don't know if the Darae sculpt is right for her character since it's so smiley or if I should get a Delf or Minifee instead. Any advice on second thoughts?

I used to have a SD girl and found her too large for my liking. I'm in love with the MSD size, especially Minifees, you won't regret it if you buy a Minifee xD; I'm babysitting my sisters F60 girl right now, but I find myself not really wanting to take photos of her just because of her size lol. Do more research if you find yourself waffling over Darae, make sure she's the one you really want before buying her. When I bought my Darae, I thought she was what I wanted, so I passed on Minifees to get her, then turned around and sold her just to get a Minifee, haha.

I wish I could see in real life how tall they are. DX It's just so hard to choose size when you don't really know how big they actually are, you know? I think I'm getting an MSD though, to start with at least. I really like the Darae, but Minifees are just so cute! I've heard they're a bit slimmer than other MSDs. Is this true?

Yup, Minifees are considered "slim MSD", they tend to be curvier and the breast are a bit bigger. I have a picture somewhere farm6.staticflickr.com/5135/54... I'm 5'5" if that helps any, lol. So SD (~58cm) is roughly as long as my torso ^^ Maybe this will help too farm5.staticflickr.com/4111/50...

I'm about 5'5" too, so that really helps. Thanks! I think SDs will be too big for me. They're HUGE! The second link helped me too. MSDs look like kids compared to MSDs. Anyways, I found a sculpt that seems perfect for my character, after looking at lots of owners pictures. A Minifee Mirwen!

Me too. Oh and do Kid Delf sized wigs fit Minifees? I have the perfect wig picked out for her, but it's a Kid Delf sized wig. And I didn't notice! XD Normally I do, but I guess I just looked at sizes instead of faces.

I think KDF generally wear 7-8, I find myself liking the 6-7 size for all my MNFs. 7-8 will fit, but it tends to be looser! All my dolls have wig caps from Luts in the 7-8 size, even if they don't need it. I like the friction it causes so the wigs don't slide around so easily x)

I think I'll try the 7-8, since it's just too perfect for her character, but if I don't like it, I'll save up for a 6-7. I'm definitely getting a wig cap. I've heard they work really well. I'm going to make a bjd account, so I'll link that to you once I get her and stuff. ^-^
