There's such a feeling of loneliness here. But I really enjoy the subtle touches of color that are in the picture frame. It makes you aware of the presence of other people, but the moment you captured makes it seem as though it has all been forgotten about.

It looks really well kept up. So often old cemeteries in the US aren't kept nice and left to the elements and stupild vandals.

This is very important cemetery not only for people who live there. There are graves of famous polish writers, actors, at al. It's a part of our XIX and early XX history.

I signed it Old to distinguish this one from new, modern city cemetary in Zakopane. The original name of the cemetery would be too difficult to people who don't know our language.

Lots of interesting items on the graves and a variety of monuments.

It was January.
The photo was taken on the same day that both of my Mists: Mist 1 and Mist 2 . But yes, it was quite cold there...

I've never seen such tall trees in a cemetary before. It looks like it's in the middle of some magical woods.
