Description
The very well known Aishwarya Rai Bachhan as "Jodhaa Bai" from the movie 'Jodhaa Akbar'.
For those who don't know- 'Jodhaa Akbar' is a movie on a sixteenth century love story about a political marriage of convenience between a Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa.

It is a beautiful movie starring one of my most favourite actors 'Hrithik Roshan' as the lead!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the winner the Miss World title (1994) and one of the most eminent actresses of the Indian film industry. I am not really a fan of the actress but drew this for the details, which was a challenge for me.

Aah... its been almost 10 months since I submitted something! *shame on meh* But college has been such a pain in the you know where that I could hardly sharpen my pencils!
And the results of lack of practice is clearly visible! Yes, of course I'm talking about the dearth of likeness. I concentrated so much on the detailing that it sort of slipped my mind!

And don't even get me started about the details, trust me when I say...It was EXCRUCIATING as putting them in almost blinded me!! And it wasn't once that I almost gave up. I did exclude few minor details which were behind her saree and were impossible to draw without making it untidy.
I also made it A Lot darker than the reference picture to bring out the contrast and to make the detailing stand out.
And I also kept "Jodhaa" writing on the drawing because I liked the font! lol!
So that's that...
I completed it and it doesn't look utterly hideous (does it?), and I'm glad for that!

Used-
A4 bond paper
Mechanical Pencil- 0.5 and 0.7
10B, 6B, 2B Graphite Pencils
Classmate Carbon Black Pencil, Faber Castell and Staedtler Black Pencils.
White Gel Pen (for the jewellery detailing and the sequins, shiny parts)
kneaded eraser
eraser
tortillion/blending stump
tissue

Time--- A lot! lost count!!

Although it was pretty exhausting *sighs*, I must say I enjoyed drawing this!
