I think it's beautiful as well. Although the song is [by theory] talking about two sons. The song Little Birds is a direct connecting element to this song a lot of people think, as it's about two boys who experiment with each other and they're both killed for being gay.

oh wow, I never knew that...I've been studying his lyrics for ever, like I know about his obsession with Anne Frank and everything but I didn't know that about this song, or Little Birds. Perhaps some new art is in order :]

Well, I think it is. This is kind of my theory. I definitely think that is the meaning, with Little Birds included. But like, Oh Comely, for example only two or three lines are about Anne Frank.
Aeroplane is kind of like taking 4 or 5 stories from his life, mix it with fiction, add anne frank, and stir it all up with some cryptic tomato lines.
