Okay, I was strapped for what I wanted to draw, but I wanted to draw something to lift my spirits because they've been very down lately...so have some old school unintentional Pledgeshipping!

(I say unintentional because I didn't plan on having the shipping at all at first... A few jokes and remarks from some readers later, Pledgeshipping came about!)

As for the scene itself... Honestly, for as dated as it is, it's still one of my favourites from my classic (and fairly poorly written) fanfic, Almia Shadows .

In chapter 21 of the story, Alexa gets kidnapped by Ice from the Sinis Trio and spends the rest of the chapter and most of chapter 22 being held hostage by them and Kincaid, only for Keith, despite a double knee injury from chapter 20, to rescue her. The rescue continues in chapter 23, but Keith's loyalty to Alexa shines brilliantly as he uses himself as a shield to protect her from a Weavile's attack (which ends up giving him the scars I keep drawing him with ) in the process. They discover their fellow Ranger, Sven waiting to pick them up once they get outside, but Kincaid and the Sinis Trio catch up with the teens, so Keith and Buizel (sans a nickname in Almia Shadows) stand their ground to defend their rescued friend.

This rescue mission later made Keith reconsider his feelings for Alexa, ultimately realising they were stronger than he thought they were, as he later admits to her brother, Keenan .

EDIT: Fixed the colour of Buizel's fins.
