Possibly my favourite line of dialogue in any Pokemon game (from gen 4 at the very least), and a message I personally believe in firmly.

Yes, there are Pokemon that don't have as impressive stats as, say, Garchomp or Infernape, but if I really like a Pokémon, I will use it.

I'll use Heatmor as an example; Serebii.net and Smogon both say that Heatmor isn't that impressive (putting it mildly), but that won't stop me using him because I love Heatmor.

The two sites also say Garchomp is in the "overused" "category" (OU) (formerly in the "uber" category), but I don't plan to use another one (I have a story Garchomp in Platinum) because I don't like Garchomp that much. Whether or not that's because of Cynthia, I'm not sure. Doubt it, though, but I never really explored my lack of interest in Garchomp.

Anyway, I digress. No matter what anyone says about a Pokemon I like, I am more than likely going to use it, poor stats or not! *strokes her Volt Absorb Pachirisu*

Think about it; if every Pokemon player on the planet only used Pokemon in the "OU" category, everyone would more than likely have nearly identical teams! I'm a believer in embracing differences, and that rhetorical idea doesn't roll with me xD
