"Most popular city overlook point" being Earthquake Park, I can assume?

I have never seen Anchorage like this before...

Well I've been there, but we were there at maybe midnight, so all our pictures are very dark... flashes illuminated us and little specks of light are in the background from the buildings.

cool! make sure to check out Denali Park and the Kenai Peninsula - those are my favourite places in AK. Anchorage is really nice, too (unlike Fairbanks - no need to go there )

You made my city look so dreary! Except for the sky, naturally. I like that very much.

Your IR panorama's are really quite stunning. As is the sky in this one. Simply devine.

The sky is incredible a fantastic feeling of depth. Well toned. Good work. (Is there anywhere I can find out how to do this toning in CS2?

just shift the hue for whatever colour you need (choose colour in the drop-down menu and adjust with colour picker if needed)
I've been finding some cool tips at [link] if you want to learn some new stuff in PS

That's beautiful. The curve of the coast-line adds a lot of depth.

What kind of post-processing did you do? The original colours would be blue, or? I'm soon to purchase an IR-filter myself, you see.

Pederklev In reply to Pederklev [2007-03-01 14:51:18 +0000 UTC]

The original colours would be red? *

brown-red sky and cyan foliage. I switched red and blue channels and fine-tuned the colours in Hue/Saturation

Thank you very much.

One more question if you don't mind.. How did you get multiple steady shots in a canoe?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

tisbone In reply to Pederklev [2007-03-02 11:20:33 +0000 UTC]

I have a modified camera (hot mirror replaced with IR filter), so it takes IR pics in 'normal' speed

exactly what I did was pretty easy with the G2. But now I'm hoping to get a new body and modify my d70 to get more versatile with lenses and have faster AF... G2's swivel screen will remain unbeaten though
