Description A revisit of an old design. This time with better blendin.

The 3-Shot-Rifle uses metal storm technology to let soldiers put bursts of fire down range with massive accuracy. The ammunition is stacked in rows of three and incased in a polymer coating that holds them together and burns away when the brust is fired

24 burst per mag, 3 shots per burst

So the magazine holds rods containing 3 rounds each?

basically. Metal Storm technology is stacked ammo held in the barrel and fired electronically. This is my take at the tech, keeping with the high rate of high of a metal storm system but is also easy to reload. To do this, the rounds are loades into polymer tubes that load into the action and burn away when the rounds are fired.

He is right. It's a double stack, double feed mag that feeds the polymer tubes into the action like a standard rifle. the tubes are narrower that a standard round, but much longer.
