Adaptation is a brillant intellectual movie about the struggling parts of author Charlie Kaufman while trying to transform the novel „The Orchid Thief“ into a screen play. His character is split into two brothers, the real Charlie, and his ficticious twin brother Donald, both played by Nicolas Cage. It’s so brillant and intellectual, that I forgot the story, but remember very well Donald Kaufman, and I’d like to dedicate this painting to him! (And not to forget: no plants were harmed in the making of it!)
