Description
These are the female uniform variants of the Titan Coalition Black Navy and Planetary Defense Corps.

The Black Navy was formed during the founding of the Titan coalition as a combining of the independent rogue fleets that roamed the solar system after the Earthfall. Only a few decades after the organization of the Black Navy, Coalition leadership realised they needed an isolated progression and hierarchy for regular infantry akin to that of the Army and Marine forces of their ancestors on the now desolate Earth. Initially beginning as an extension of the Black Navy, the Planetary Defense Corps has expanded into a full branch of the Titan Coalition military forces, holding dominion over military action on a planets surface and defensive space stations. PDC soldiers can however be attached to a specific ship as an expeditionary force, in which case the ranking corpsman reports directly to the ship's commanding officer.

All peoples of the Coalition are required to complete a term of service in either the Black Navy or the Planetary Defense Corps to achieve full citizenship. Although war is what caused the near extinction of humanity, the military is honored and maintained at strength as it's strict spartan lifestyle is what permitted humanity to survive.

Shown are the Black Navy Class-A (parade dress), Class-B (duty, formal), and Class-C (duty, active) uniforms, and the PDC Class-A (parade dress), Class-B (duty) uniforms. Parade dress is really only worn during formal events and ceremonies on planet surface or aboard secure space stations. Duty uniform patches are post (planet/station/ship) name and colony of origin flag on right shoulder, and department specialty (abbreviation) on left shoulder. Ranks shown are a Apprentice (E2), Command Vanguard (E8), Captain (O5), and Commander (O4).

There are distinct reasons for certain aspects of the uniform, such as the completely blank right side on the duty uniforms. I imagine the material to be a smart material that can actually change colors and display information almost like a touch screen fabric. The right side is kept bare so that medical personnel can access health monitoring systems built into the uniform without breaking the seal in case of vacuum or needing to plug a monitor into a data jack of some sort that can be damaged. All "patches" are actually also project by the smart material, and change automatically during ceremonies, or during field promotions if the appropriate commands are issued.

Black Navy department is indicated by sleeve color:
Blue - Communications
Red - Tactical
Yellow - Engineering
Green - Supply
White - Medical (also clergy)
Orange - Pilot
Violet - Science
Brown - Judiciary
None - Administrative/instructional departments

As all corpsman are primarily trained as infantry before receiving any department specific training, PDC departments are not differentiated by color like the Black Navy, but instead solely by the lettered abbreviation.
