Marie Validus created by PharoahQueen. well, my attempt anyways. she looks okay. but I could have dun better. but she still manages to look realy cute.Marie is one of the very few Anthro snakes I am aware of that I actualy like. and doesn't get thrown into immediantly into the type that likes to eat peoples (vore).
Marie is probley gonna be in a sketch with Rahl sometime soon. and don't worry I asked PQ, she said it was fine by her.
anyways. I asked marie if she be so kind as to pose for me so I can draw her. she was sweet enough to let me do so. don't she look cute or what? originaly I was gonna add nipples but desided I should stick to the design the original artist did of her. it looks good without nipples. but when I draw her with nipples she looked even more sexy. but eh. I guess its because I likes boobs.
took a few hours to do. the shadows where added for effect.

the more you draw the better you get. look at my stuff. start from the verry begining and work your way to the most recent submission. all my older pics are all crap. I'm getting better now though.

I know, I see that myself and all my friends have told me this. I do greatly enjoy my progress.
The thing is I expect too much of myself. I strive to improve, and get frustrated when it doesn't work. I'm very proud of this piece, but I really really wish I was better.
This is the reason I don't draw often.

I used to do that alot back in my earlier years. but I learned to just let things happen.
one thing I can advise is to let yourself free. as the great H.R. Giger once said. 'you put yourself in handcuffs then you are not letting yourself grow.'
basicly what I'm saying is. if you expect too much of yourself nothing is going to come out the way you want it. you should expect nothing. draw freely without any concience of what you are doing. try doing that for a while and see what happens.

See, some people just aren't wired that way. If I just 'let myself be' in what I do, I'll grow complacent, and I fear I'll never be motivated to get better. I'm improving as I am, just... slowly.
