Description The more I draw my friend’s characters, the more defined the background behind them becomes. I just noticed that. Also one more character to gooo.

This is Faeryn, a Wild Magic Sorcerer, as well as her trusty animal companion, Bark the Gecko. It’s wayyyy too early to tell what her whole thing is, and since D&D was cancelled this week, I won’t have a chance to know more until next week. But from what I can infer, Faeryn was gifted with magic, but since she was at a young age that power became so chaotic that she… did something? And as a result she had to live on the streets of Naveah? Sorry, I'm guessing.

Much like Jesse and Abel, he and Faeryn are also alike with potentials for conflict. To start off, they’re both teenage thieves, and they always like to dive their nose into mischief. This one time Jesse and Faeryn teamed up to steal something from a shopkeeper. Faeryn distracted them, and I stole a clock. However, it was a magic shop run by a mage, so that failed horribly.

As for potential conflicts? Faeryn is a street urchin and may have had good reason to break laws in order to survive, whereas Jesse, a noble posing as a merchant, is actually well off, even after a year from being away from his House. As a result he sees stealing as a fun little game where he can derive thrills out of either his “victim’s” reactions or the chase itself. He doesn’t actually steal for the item. Well, sometimes he does, but not frequently.

I would’ve imagined such an intent would’ve pissed Faeryn off, but it didn’t. Maybe she finds fun in stealing as well? Who knows? I’ll address it in the next session, see what she thinks. And also there's one more character I need to draw left.

Also canonically, Jesse is the shortest character out of the group of heroes and I live for it.
