Description
Lemmy Koopa, also known as Hip Koopa in the SMB3 Cartoon, is the most childish of the Koopalings. He has a strong affinity with bouncy balls and circus-like acts and performances, often balancing on a ball while using them as projectiles. He is often the boss of the Ice regions and is often the sixth Koopaling fought, but in Super Mario World and Superstar Saga, he was the third, and in New Super Mario Bros U, he was the first in the Grass region.

Before New Super Mario Bros U, Lemmy had one extra blue strand of hair and his shell was green, the change to his shell colour was likely to match his hair and yellow ball. Lemmy is named after the late Lemmy Kilmister, the founder of the heavy metal band Motörhead.
