That was such an awesome movie. And the prequel wasn't too bad either. Great depiction of The Thing here.

Take it this is a representation of the one they found at the Norweigen base?

I'm very interested to see how they do some aspects of this film like the frozen man who'd slit his throat and wrists, plus the thing with no human assimilated into it.

And this guy. It seemed like a odd mass of limbs on the table, I love your representation looks darn cool, if there was any criticism it's a bit heavy on the mouths and not with any other 'limbs' or 'disfigurements'.

Split face!! the thing movie was cool and I mean the classic one. I havent seen the newer one yet.

When you say 'the classic one' you mean the one from 1982. Yes. I also like that one. The new one is a prequel to that movie, by the way.

Here's something you might not notice. The 1982 movie which was directed by John Carpenter was actually a remake of the 1951 movie 'The Thing From Another World'. I've just realized that from watching James Rolfe's movie reviews on Space Invasion. All those movies are based on the book titled 'Who Goes There?'

The 1951 movie is more like Frankenstein monster from outer space while the 1982 movie is bloody gory.
