- Yeah, mostly for Diamond, I'm sure he'd love to see his family after that.

Daniel's face didn't show so much as a smile but it needn't to, the stars in his eyes did the talking for him. He would've loved to bring Love along the trip, but as his kelpie was of warm blood it couldn't tolerate the cold ; the Pyrenees were the last place he could bring her with. It didn't matter, he bought Diamond for that exact reason and it was of a happy irony that the first time he'd compete with him would be not only in his home country but also at the stable he was born in.

Daniel intended to impress the owner, Caelyne , to show her just how well he took care of her stallion and how he helped him flourish. Even though he only trained him for cross-country, he had taught him many tricks, like the one they were practicing right now, while waiting for their turn alongside Gabriel. Nervous about the competition to come, Gabriel could only keep staring at them giving paw. Daniel, on the other hand, was feeling way too excited to feel any kind of stress, he knew they they were going to shine.
