Description So apparently they gave out the code to rent an ELITE car? Hey if they're trying to prove how good it is I'll take a free sample! I can see why this car is so good but it's unforgiving if you screw up, into a wall or, usually, spun out of control.

It wouldn't be considered an ELITE or even an Mclaren F1 if its easy to drive. A real drivers' car.

what I'm saying is it's a very frustrating car to drive. and thats wrong, an elite car would be driveable while offering some challenge, this is all speed no control. thats not like the other elites and what i've seen from them.

Don't you just hate it when there's different opinions here and there? I heard its got tough handling.

I imagine all the Elite cars are a bit harder to drive, despite my experience I prefer a car with stability I can rely on.

All ELITE cars are like that. This is another reason why some people would prefer the standards over the ELITEs, not only because they look better normal, but because they drive more easier and more forgiving.

In my opinion on the other hand, the F1 handles great. It drives like a true race car and I can drive it like one, unlike some cars I own. I know the consequences of screwing up, and as such, when I finish a race in a good spot, I feel good. And besides, standards may be more easier to drive, but the ELITEs' performance are still higher, for some at least.

I don't need a 2 paragraph lecture on why you think the Elite is a good car. if you think that then fine. I think it isn't. agree to disagree. thank you and goodnight.

Why does everybody thinks that??? I wasn't even lecturing. It wasn't even supposed to be a lecture. Its just a long reply.

This is why I'm a quiet guy in reality.

This was EA's big mistake. they thought hey lets let people rent the awesome Elite F1 and see how good it is so they'll buy it. now all i'm hearing from my friends in-game is how much it sucks. The mistake they made was letting underlings even have the car in their garage. they can't control it. they can barely keep it straight on the road, trust me I watched my friend try to race against my Reventon in one. he was 20 seconds behind me at the end.

I just like to adapt to different cars, that's all. If its tough to drive, then I'll get used to it eventually. And now that I'm used to the F1, I enjoy running around in it. I got beaten by Zondas and non-rental F1s only by seconds.

my point is, I'm observing this from a psychological standpoint. your average "beginner" at world picks cars based on what they alone can do and not what the driver AND the car can do together yes? Well think of it this way, a person usually judges by first impression, so this car's 1 day rental offers a first impression, these gamers get the car hoping for a smooth easy fun ride and when they don't get what they expected they decide the car isn't worth their money. First Impression is so easy to judge on they choose not to give it the benefit of the doubt. Did I hate the car at first? hell yes. Am I going to abandon it once my rental expires? hell no I'm getting the McLaren F1 on christmas. I want to master it. Those gamers probably will never get the F1 because of the first impression it left on them. Do you see what I'm saying?

its a shame really. I see it all the time. they try something once, decide they hate it without even giving it a real chance. But the point of all this psychological talk is, EA's rental promotion will end in majority failure to attract F1 Elite buyers. it's fun to talk Psychology.
