I've recently just beaten the game as Carol the cat. I had to do it on easy though because the difficulty is insane, even on easy. The best part about easy mode is you regenerate health over time, but if your not careful you still die.
I also found out that theirs no story for milla, yet that is. I found out recently through my steam account that they added stuff to it recently, one of them being a extra cut scene for the story.
So I come to conclude that the game is unfinished. Its finished for the main story and game-play, but for some reason everything is not there.
I found clues on sprite resource.com that Torce and (oh #@$ the #$%@ some-more I dred this boss) Spade become playable characters later on.
So I'm guessing they had some problems and are still working on this game, or preparing for DLC.
But that's my theory.
