HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBENN!! You're finally 13! <3 I love you so much, you make me so proud every single day. I love spending time with you, and I love watching you grow. You're turning into such an amazing person, I'm just so proud and honored that you can consider me your mom. You deserve the best, and nothing but the best.
I remember how nervous and shy I was when we first met, now I know I can come to you about anything and you would be there in an instant to comfort me. I love staying up until 1am on school nights on Skype just goofing off. I love skyping you, and surprising you with Diamond. Just being around you is amazing.
You're so incredibly talented, and funny! Your art improves with each brush stroke every single day. You're such an amazing artist, I can't even wrap my head around it. You're just an amazing person in general.
When I was going through a rough patch, and I never got online too often or said too much, I was always welcomed back with an "I love you Mom" or "get well Mom", it just means so much to me that you care about me as much as you do.
I see you as an actual child, it feels like you're an actual child. You basically are one. I've never in my life felt something like this, the urge to protect you, and to make sure you know how amazing you truly are. I just want you to be happy.
I hope I'm doing a good job as a mom as well, I want you to know how much I love you, because I really do. Everything you do makes me proud, I don't care if your biological parents are disappointed in you for any reason, whether it be you got in trouble or even a bad grade. I would accept that accidents happen, and I know you're so intelligent and amazing, you try your best at everything.
You've introduced me to so many new people such as Ronnie and Ross and Scotch, I would've never met them if it wasn't for you, and I'm so glad I did meet them. They're amazing kids as well. I probably wouldn't have many friends PERIOD if it weren't for you, I used to be a whole lot shyer.
I remember when I used to do a lot of google hangouts and people would join, I would just wait and wait until you joined, because it was so much better when you did, you made it so much more fun. You really are amazing.
I also remember when I was going through the whole art theft thing a few months back, you were always there to support me through it. I don't know where I'd be without you. Fuck I love you so much.
I love how I can say "I love you", and you can say it back, and we both know it doesn't mean "I want to kiss you", but it means "I really do care for you", because I do. I care for you so so so much. Whenever you're depressed or sad, it absolutely kills me. I just want to do everything in my power to make sure you're happy.
