It's been so long since I watched anime, fff.My friend made me watch Fate Zero a week ago, and I quite enjoyed it! Now I get to wait for episodes to come out weekly again, just like the good old days!
Been wanting to draw Lancer ever since I decided he was my favourite character (Aside from Rider, but everyone likes Rider so he doesn't count)
I was originally gonna have him in a more action-y pose, but I couldn't find a pose I liked, so I just derp'd and made him standing there. I kinda wanna draw Saber now too. MAN, THEY'RE BOTH SO NOBLE, WTF. Makes me go "baww, asdfghj~"
Also tried new shading on this one-- YOU CAN PROLLY TELL BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT. Though Id like to get better at this style, even if Im not gonna use it all the time xD so i may practice it more in the future.
also backgrounds.
I had no idea hwo to draw pretty-boy eyes either, so I had to look up many-a-references of pretty-boy eyes.

The new shading is looking really good. Not a big fan of the gradient used for the BG, but otherwise, this is a really good picutre.

Man, I've been meaning to egt into that series, actually. I jsut haven'twatched aniem in ever so <.< guhh! I never think to do it on ym own anymore. I don't need to have watched Avatar or anything, do i? are you watching it? I might get strated on it, I remember seeing the trailer and tohught it looked cool

The Last Airbender series was great. I suggest starting there. The characters are awesome, though it only starts picking up at the second season. Don't watch the movie though, I hear it's incredibly bad.
It's a lot of kung-fu and so forth, people fighting while blasting fire and other elements at each other. The first series (I call it that because it had 3 seasons and dealt with different characters and whatnot) had some EPIC battles. I highly recommend it.

A freind of mine lent me The Last Airbender back in highschool, but I ended up taking too long to watch it (hard to believe, i know) so I only got a couple of episodes in. but it seemed pretty rad from what I saw. And Ive heard good things. in any case, It's something Ive been menaing to watch.
Lol yanno, I like it when series have a lot of martial-arts like stuff in them with a hint of magic. (Kind of likc Dragonball was martial arts wiht a bit of Kamehahemas. The DBZ Became Kamehamehas witha bit of Martial arts.)Just makes it all that mroe flashy and awesome.
I wish real-life martial arts could incorperate magic-ike stuff. It's be so badass.

Well yeah, you mentioned not getting after any anime recently so I suggest Avatar.
I think my favorite thing about my Sherlock Holmes/Witching Hour idea is that I'm going to have them get into big freaking fights. Holmes gets into some tussles in the stories but like real fights they're over so fast. I'd love to go over the top with Dieman and Captain Maim. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'M EXCITED
I just went and read through my duel again. I like drawing fights. But yeah, physical fights with just a touch of the ol' magic.
